Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 7, 2026 · zuppyhealth.com

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and device identifiers used in mobile apps. This policy covers cookies on zuppyhealth.com as well as tracking technologies used within the Zuppy mobile app.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No consent is required for essential cookies under GDPR.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The PostHog analytics cookie is set by PostHog, Inc. Their processing of data collected through this cookie is governed by their privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

Vercel Web Analytics is provided by Vercel Inc. It does not use browser cookies; visitor counts are based on anonymous request hashes that reset daily.

If you accept cookies on the web quiz funnel, Meta, TikTok, and Google advertising tags may also set cookies or read ad click identifiers for campaign measurement and retargeting. We do not send raw email addresses to these browser pixels.

4. Mobile App Tracking

The Zuppy mobile app does not use browser cookies. Instead, it uses the following device-level technologies:

  • Device-encrypted storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) — stores authentication tokens securely on your device.
  • PostHog SDK — collects anonymized usage events (screen views, feature interactions) to help us improve the app. Uses a randomly generated device ID, not your name or email.
  • Sentry SDK — collects crash reports and error logs linked to a user ID for debugging purposes.
  • App Tracking Transparency (ATT) (iOS only) — iOS will ask your permission before we can access the device's IDFA (advertising identifier). We use this only for analytics attribution, not advertising.

5. Your Choices

On the website

When you first visit zuppyhealth.com, a cookie consent banner gives you the choice to accept or decline non-essential cookies. If you decline, only essential cookies (session and consent preference) are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

You can also control cookies directly in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

On iOS

When prompted, you can deny the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) request to prevent IDFA access. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform standard for DNT has been established. We rely instead on explicit consent via the cookie banner.
